The Holidays

Today is the end of running around and trying to see everyone and get everything done. It feels good, let me tell you.
Christmas was good. We went to my parents on Christmas eve and then drove back down on Christmas day. My mom had to work but we still had Christmas dinner with my dad and brother. The food was sooo good. After that we spent boxing day down in the city and then headed up to see Marcs family on the 27th. It was our second Christmas eve :) and our second Christmas was on the 28th.
When we got home one the 28th we discovered that our fridge no longer worked and that almost all our food went bad. Fun. Thankfully we are not responsible for it, the super will get a repair man in the see if he can fix it and if not then he puts another fridge in. Our freezer still works so whatever we could save went in there and the beer we bought went outside in a cooler and has remained out there. What sucks though is the weather has turned hot and disgusting so what is in the cooler is not longer freezing but it is still a little colder than our fridge. Overall though the whole situation sucks.
We got to see our niece this holiday :). She is adorable. Very quiet...I mean she cries but once she is changed and/or fed she stops and just looks around. Every once and awhile she gives a smile and that is cute. I can't wait till shes a bit older though, holding a two month old is awkward and so not for me. I have to say though, seeing Marc holding her was cute but I don't see him being a dad. It didn't suit him. Being an uncle suits him. I don't think holding her even suited me :P
Today we went and bought Marcs heparin. It was a stressful thing and kinda confusing because the doctor told us that we would get the needles pre filled but no. We get the little vials and the needles and we have to fill them up. It doesn't look hard but still we have never done it before. He gets his first injection this coming Saturday and a week from now he will be getting his procedure. So far he's pretty excited about it.
Also, this Saturday we are doing our anniversary redo. I had midterms to study for so we didn't do anything except go out to dinner, we had to cancel our plans. But we booked the hotel room and the honeymoon package and plan on ordering room service and just staying in the room.
O and Marc finally got his new phone, it is so nice.
