Oops. It has been a while, hasn't it.

So i am now 24 and feel old. I know, I know it is not old but I feel 30 approaching fast. Anyways, school is going well. Just finished two midterms and one of them went well but the other one....well I will be happy to get a passing mark. Apparently Christmas is approaching fast as well so that mean even more exams yay! (sarcasm!!).

Marc is doing well, he got knee high stockings to try but I don't think they work as well as the thigh high compression stockings. He decided to only wear the knee highs every few days. His INR is holding steady and he feels perfectly fine. He might have to go on heparin soon, he's a little nervous about it because he would have to inject himself with the medication but at least it will only be for 4 days or so and then he can go back to his cumadin (warfarin). The heparin is for a small procedure he is getting done, the surgeon feels it would be better with the heparin and we were happy to learn that he can go back to pill form the day after- maybe even the same day as the procedure.

We have also been married for one year!! It was great! And I am also an aunt to a little girl! It's pretty exciting. Seeing the pictures puts my body in some weird need to have baby kick but I kick it back and tell it to shut up and that I am not meant to be a mother and that I really do not need the lack of sleep and annoying kid things kids do. Having a niece is plenty for me.

Besides all that life is good at the meloche/paradis house. We got our Christmas cards in and can't wait to mail them out. We were going to do them last year but things got in the way so that never happened but this year will be the first and not the last year. I think I should stick our cats in next years card...they are our babies after all!

We are thinking of going out to dinner on Christmas Eve. It will be a first. We usually go see family but we want Christmas to be only us this year and go see family other days. It will be interesting to go out on Christmas Eve though and I think we've picked out the restaurant....maybe lol.

I am going to try updating this blog more, school has been crazy so it has been the last thing on my mind.
