Lots of attention from the person she hates :P
I have been home for March break and she is fully taking advantage of the situation and making my allergies go crazy. Along with having a cold my face is (probably not but it feels like it to me) three times it's normal size.
I have been on the hunt for some scary reads. I like a book that scares the shit out of me. The Exorcist accomplished that well so I asked around and was told Salems Lot is scary. Now, I don't like King. I have a hard time with his writing...it bores me. The only book that I like, by him, is Misery...but I read that on vacation on Punta Cana so maybe that's the sun and beach talking. Anyways, I figured I would give Salems lot a try. I'm reading and reading and reading...waiting for the scary moments and finding none. I figure it has to come soon right...no. The book sucked. It was a horrible read! Not scary at all. The only part that was mildly scary was at the end there is a newspaper clipping about a woman who heard tapping on her window while she was watching TV and she turned to see a face staring at her. That was the biggest excitement I had from the whole damn book :P
So I asked around some more and now have a list of books I will check out. Right now I am reading Silence of the Lambs. I loved the movie...but I love Hopkins. I was told the book was good...not scary as in horror scary but tense. So I look forward to whats to come.
