Dresses do not equal fancy dinner

If you look in my closet you will find all of two pairs of pants that I wear, the rest of the clothes in there are dresses and skirts. I like wearing dresses and skirts. For one they flatter my figure more than pants ever could, I'm tall so finding pants that are long enough is annoying. And pants hardly ever fit right in all places (the butt is too baggy, the length isn't good, too tight on the legs, etc.).

I wear dresses/skirts every day of the week (well weekends I can be found roaming in my pj shorts) and I like it. But I hate...HATE when I get asked "why are you soooo dressed up!!?" "Where are you going all dressed up like that?" What I can't wear a simple blue dress to take a piss? I'm not going anywhere half the time, I'm not going to a place that charges 100$ a plate. I just like looking good and wearing dresses/skirts!

Is it such a foreign concept to want to dress in something other than pants. Am I suddenly against the whole feminist movement because I am wearing a dress while cooking dinner?! NO! NO! I just like it. So bug off! I don't question why you're wearing pants! Who cares if I wear dresses/skirts on a daily basis. But no I can not leave the house in a dress without being asked "Why are you dressed so nice" Next time I will leave in nothing but a paper bag...then I guess I will fit in.
