The boots

I am too tall for my mirror. I could not take a full body shot but I hope to get Marc to get a full shot sometime this weekend and I will update the post.

Here are the boots:

I need a lot of practice to walk in these things! They are 5 inch heels and it's been a few years since I've walked around in heels that high. Yesterday was pretty funny, I couldn't walk without having my hand on the wall. What was horrible, was my phone rang and where was my phone? At the other end of the apartment, so I had to quickly walk in these boots to get the phone and it ended up being a wrong number :P I am glad I was the only one home when this occurred, I can't imagine the look Marc or the roommate would have given me.

Anyways today I am wearing them and I plan to wear them for about an hour every day till I can walk pretty good in them. Were these boots worth all the trouble? Yes, they are not too bad comfort wise (they are just really high and I can't stand still in them very long yet) and I do not plan to wear these boots for school or to run errands. They are my dress boots for the fall and spring when I need to wear a dress to go out to dinner and it's still too cold to wear open heels. So I hope to have them for quite a few years.

Wow the second picture is blurry! Sorry about that, I took it with my phone.

  1. I love them! I never wear boots because I have big calves, but if I could, I would totally rock those boots. They're awesome!!

  2. It is hard to find boots that fit a wide calf. I haven't been able to find any knee highs here in Canada that fit me (also I have a hard time finding anything in a size 11 up here :P).

I found this that might help: http://www.examiner.com/plus-size-fashion-in-national/tip-tricks-how-to-shop-for-wide-calf-boots-for-fall

Don't give up the search for a good knee high boot or lower, everyone needs a good looking boot!
