Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving just passed and although it was not as relaxing as we wanted it to be we had a great time with family and friends. Marc had a four day weekend which started with one of his GURPS games at a friends house. I had Laura over and we watched some awesome old Disney movies: Emperor's New Groove and The Goofy Movie :)

Saturday started off with me waking up at 7:30am screaming and crying in pain...fun. My giant tabby cat decided that he wanted to sleep on my pillow and he decided the best way to get there, even though there is a ton of room on the queen sized bed, was by walking on my face. So I had 22lbs of cat on my face where he slipped and scratched my chin with his back paw. Fun. What was really horrible is I had a Thanksgiving dinner party with family and friends at 3. So I put ice on it and lots of concealer. It wasn't too noticeable. Anyways that dinner went lovely. It was nice to see some family and to meet new people. I think my hair cut went over well, my hair was not being friendly so I had a hard time styling it but whatever.

Sunday we headed up north to meet a friend of mine, Chris from Natural Selections Photography, so he could take our pictures. He did our wedding pictures and with our two year wedding anniversary coming up on Monday it was time to change up some wedding pictures around the house and I wanted to get a picture taken for our Christmas card. After all that we headed over to Marcs family and relaxed for a few hours. The day didn't end too well though, I am not going to write about it but lets just say dealing with people who want to buy something you're selling online makes me want to rip my hair out.

Anyways, Monday we finally had some time to relax. We stayed home (well I needed to go out to get shoes because mine died) and we had our little Thanksgiving meal.

Next weekend we are (I think) heading our to visit some ice cider places, a honey/mead place and maybe some cheese places for our anniversary.
